Overview: It’s one thing to find out you’re a vampire princess. It’s a whole other thing to actually rule. Newly married Jessica Packwood is having a hard enough time feeling regal with her husband, Lucius, at her side. But when evidence in the murder of a powerful elder points to Lucius, sending him into solitary confinement, Jessica is suddenly on her own. My thoughts: Jessica is married and her husband is wrongly accused, or so we think and thrown in jail with no blood to be given to him, which is fatal to a vampire. He is accused of murdering his uncle. Which if he did was just I think but if he didn't then who did?
his stake was found with blood on it and now there is trial to trying a figure out who did it. While doing this Jessica is ruling the vampires, but someone keeps her poisoned and she is having trouble ruling. She finally gets courage and with her friend's help find that her family is the one against her and her husband.
