Passion by: Lauren Kate

Publication Date: June 2011

Overveiw:
Luce would die for Daniel.
And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . . .
Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.
Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.
Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames . . . forever.
Sweeping across centuries, PASSION is the third novel in the unforgettably epic FALLEN series.

My thoughts: I have to say that I'm a fan of Lauren Kate, this book hasn't changed that. But I found myself bored. Having to read through all of her past lives. I have to say I'm surprised that anyone could think of several past lives for their character, but honestly....did I have to read through them all, or most of them. I wanted more Daniel and Luce enteraction not past live interaction. I loved the first 2 books in this series and was so happy when this one was released but I can't handle all of this time travel......it's boring to  me. I hope that others find it more entertaining.
One thing that I do wonder is what is causing Luce to die for Daniel, is it really because he kisses her or because she sees his true form?
Why die for the one you love over and over, if he isn't in danger I wouldn't die for him. But you better believe that if he was in danger I would be the first to step up and defend him, even if it mean sudden death. I just don't understand why things are occurring the way they have....and hopefully Rapture will be more than this.

My rating: 3 stars (once again i'm sorry)

Bloody Valentine by: Melissa de la Cruz

Publication Date: December 2010

Overview: Vampires have powers beyond human comprehension: strength that defies logic, speed that cannot be captured on film, the ability to shapeshift and more. But in matters of the heart, no one, not even the strikingly beautiful and outrageously wealthy Blue Bloods, has total control. In Bloody Valentine, bestselling author Melissa de la Cruz offers readers a new story about the love lives of their favorite vamps - the passion and heartache, the hope and devastation, the lust and longing. Combined with all the glitz, glamour, and mystery fans have come to expect, this is sure to be another huge hit in the Blue Bloods series.

My thoughts: I broke them up by stories: 1). Ollie is trying to break his ties with Sky. He is drinking to much, not eating enough, or sleeping. he goes into his usual bar and drinks alot. The bartender Freya begs him to stop what he's planned, which is to kill himself or least to forget about Sky permentaly. He does stop and ends up the Freya, but she's a witch and only found him to help him break his ties, so he wouldn't end his life.
2). The second stories tell you all about Amelia and Charles past! how she met Ben and fell inlove. And even how she came to find herself pregnant with Sky. It's a very touching story.
3). It's about Sky and Jack. If I tell you too much you will know their outcome together or apart and I don't want to give that away. Just know that with out the other, one will die.So lets hope they are there for one another.

Misguided Angel by: Melissa de le Cruz

Publication Date: October 2010

Overview:
After inheriting the dark Van Alen Legacy, Schuyler fled to Florence with her forbidden love, Jack. Now the two of them must embark on the mission Schuyler was destined to complete: to find and protect the five remaining gates that guard earth from Lucifer, lord of the Silver Bloods.
Back in New York, Mimi has been elected Regent of a crumbling coven. Struggling with her heartache over the loss of Kingsley and with her overwhelming desire to destroy Jack, she must focus all of her energy on a perilous new threat. Vampires are being abducted and their captors are planning to burn them alive online…for all the world to see. Help arrives in the form of Deming Chen, a Venator from Shanghai, who must untangle the web of deceptions before the killers strike again.
As the young vampires struggle for the survival of the coven, they uncover a deadly secret, a truth first discovered by Schuyler’s mother during the Renaissance but kept buried for centuries. And as the Blue Blood enclave weakens yet further, fate leads Schuyler to a terrible choice that will ultimately map the destiny of her heart.

My thoughts:
I love this series. Sky and the gang are all over the place. You don't hear from Bliss in this one which is weird, but okay.
I love that Sky is going all over the country side with Jack. I think they are the perfect couple and their team work shows that. I can't stand that Mimi is after them or should I say after Jack. And  after she went someone for him and they fought him off, I hope she gets the picture and leaves them alone. but everyone knows Mimi and if she doesn't get her way then all hell breaks loose.
Mimi filling a Regent is really not a good idea. Although in this book she is fighting for what right and has seemed to put all her childish ways behind her, except of course where Jack is concerned. i think she should try things out with Oliver. I know there is some underlying tense that maybe they could work out...if you know what I mean.
Someone is out for the vampires. They have killed 2 and who knows how many more my die. I can't wait to read the next book.

Summer......

I have to say that this year has been quite a busy year for me. And I know that I haven't posted as I should and it's mostly because I haven't read like I should.
A plus side to me not reading is that I'm writing. For the last 3 months I have been happier and more rested and i have been writing. It is so amazing this feeling that I have, knowing that maybe someday I could be published. I know chances of that are slim, but truthfully I don't care. I want to write so  I am.
And I'm sorry to all my followers who want more reviews from me. I have a few to put on here. The trouble is finding time. Today I have a few minutes and I wanted to update you on things so you don't think you are following someone who gave up.....I'm here...just slow. Hopefully by the end of next week I will have a post or 3 for you. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
