Overview:
Parker Shelton pretty much has the perfect life. She's on her way to becoming valedictorian at Hundred Oaks High, she's made the all-star softball team, and she has plenty of friends. Then her mother's scandal rocks their small town and suddenly no one will talk to her.
Now Parker wants a new life.
So she quits softball. Drops twenty pounds. And she figures why kiss one guy when she can kiss three. Or four. Why limit herself to high school boys when the majorly cute new baseball coach seems especially flirty?
But how far is too far before she loses herself completely?
My thoughts:
Parker's life is rough, she feels like her mom abandoned her (due to her being a lesbian and running away). Her brother has turned to drugs and alcohol and her father is oblivious.
So she decides to find her own way in life and signs up to help the boys baseball team. Which she then meets new assistant coach Brian, whose 23.
But when your 17 no one can tell you that numbers are important. you figure life is worth living no matter the age and you want what you really want, which in her case is a grown man.
Brian should know better but lets lust get the better of him and things turn a bit crazy for the duo. When things fall apart she leans on Will for support and help and that makes Brian less desirable. But when her archenemy discover her thing with Brian she reports it and set off a chain of events.
My rating:
5 stars
