Insurgent by: Veronica Roth

Publication Date: May 2012

Overview: One choice can transform you—or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.

Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

My thoughts: First let me say it's been a while since I read this and haven't wrote anything down, so I am going be memory!
I am still satisfied by Tris choice. I think anything else would have mad her weak and she needed her experiences with Dauntless to make her a fighter! I;m so not happy that crap happened to her friends and mom, but am glad to see she is trying to stand tall and fight through the horror and grief, that is her current situation. And with four with her, they get through things better. Through this series they have been split and had to be secretive but now things are differnt and they can be open and although others mean to destroy them they can come out on top.
