The Coffin Club by: Ellen Schrieber

Publication Date: May 2009

Overview: When Raven returns to Hipsterville's cryptic goth haunt, the Coffin Club, she discovers a secret door to another disco-"The Dungeon"-that is inhabited by vampires only. Raven learns that the nefarious Jagger Maxwell has welcomed the vampire clan into the club and has gained the popularity he missed in Romania. He is poised to take over Hipsterville, until a new vampire named Phoenix challenges him for control of the Coffin Club. Unbeknownst to Alexander, Raven becomes caught up in the clash, entranced by the hypnotic vampire culture of the Underworld. A surprising twist at the end reveals that Phoenix is really Alexander! Alexander frequented the club in disguise to try to thwart Jagger's plans to expose the club's vampire clientele to the town.

My thoughts: Raven has her summer break a dream come true to her, except Alexander is gone. He never came back from taking Valentine to his family. She wonders what is up but instead of waiting she takes off. Nothing to dramatic of course, she heads to her aunt's place and stays. Her aunt and her bond all the while Raven sneaks around to be with Alexander...whom she knows is nearby. She ends up chillin' at a nearby club which host mortals and underground, vampires! She gets in the underground area and make friends with Onyx and Scarlet, who don't know she's human...will they turn her when they ind out?
Jagger is causing chaos in this town too but Alexander steps up to the plate to save the day, but not in the way you's think.

Dance with a Vampire by:Ellen Schreiber

Publication Date: April 2009

Overview: The most important night of the year is drawing near . . . but not without a little trouble from the Underworld
Dullsville's newest night-faring intruder may be only a tween, but Raven knows that Valentine Maxwell, the younger sibling of two nefarious vampires, is a full-size menace. Valentine becomes even more of a threat when he befriends her brother, Billy. Raven must try to shield Billy, even as the biggest excitement of the year approaches: attending prom with her immortal love, Alexander. And while Alexander is one kind of vampire-sweet-Raven soon learns Valentine is another.
Could Valentine somehow know Raven's private thoughts about turning into a vampire?

My thoughts: Prom time... Raven ends up queen but as a prank..Nothing so crazy as Carrie, but still not a nice thing to do to someone regardless of who they are or how they dress. Valentine is trying to find his siblings . At the same time he's trying to get revenge, but ends up very ill. But do you thing the gang lets him have what's coming to him...No. They save him, take him to Alexander's and in the end gets reunited with the family.

Vampireville by: Ellen Schrieber

Publication Date: July 2006

Overview: For goth-girl Raven, dating her dream boyfriend is complicated, especially because Alexander's secret means that they can see each other only at night.
And now the pair must be extra wary in the dark with Alexander's archrival, Jagger, appearing around town. As if Jagger isn't enough cause for worry, Luna, his strikingly pale sister, has also surfaced and seems to have her sights set on Raven's longtime nemesis, Trevor. Together, Raven and Alexander must begin a terrifying search for Jagger and Luna's hideout to drive them away — that is, if it's not already too late to save Dullsville from becoming Vampireville.
In the latest installment of her popular Vampire Kisses books, Ellen Schreiber continues the startling story of two teen outsiders — she from the mortal world and he from the Underworld — who share a thrilling, extraordinary romance.

My thoughts: Luna takes Trevor on as her boyfriend ..which Raven knows shouldn't happen. But in trying to stop this she only creates confusion in Trevor and some hatred. She knows that Luna and Jagger are planning to change Trevor into a vampire which would not go down well.
Little does Raven know that helping Trevor will change everything. And this everything could last forever.
A party in a grave yard...botched....A tree house full of coffins...Then surprise and little vampire known as Valentine.

Kissing Coffins by: Ellen Schreiber

Publication Date: July 2005

Overview: The sequel to Ellen Schreiber's popular Vampire Kisses follows goth teenager Raven as she searches for her true love Alexander, whom she's discovered is a vampire.

My thoughts: After a fearful letter from Alexander's family, he hightails it away from Dullsville. leaving a sad and lonely Raven behind. But as we know Raven she won't take that lying down. She snoops to find what has driven him away. Finds the letter then sets about looking for her new man.
Now I would be to heartbroken to do anything, so seeing this girl have enough strength to get up and go after him, says she will do what ever it takes to keep him.
When Raven finds her man she realizes that there is a whole new can of worms that has been opened, in the form of a vampire named Jagger.
We learn about his twin Luna too.

Vampire Kisses by: Ellen Schreiber

Publication Date: August 2003

Overview: In her small town, dubbed "Dullsville," sixteen-year-old Raven -- a vampire-crazed goth-girl -- is an outcast. But not for long...
The intriguing and rumored-to-be haunted mansion on top of Benson Hill has stood vacant and boarded-up for years. That is, until its mysteriously strange new occupants move in. Who are these creepy people -- especially the handsome, dark, and elusive Alexander Sterling? Or rather, what are they? Could the town prattle actually ring true? Are they vampires? Raven, who secretly covets a vampire kiss, both at the risk of her own mortality and Alexander's loving trust, is dying to uncover the truth.
Ellen Schreiber's spooky and stirring romance tells the story of two outsiders who fall in love in a town where conformity reigns, and ends with a shocking surprise.
Sixteen-year-old Raven, an outcast who always wears black and hopes to become a vampire some day, falls in love with the mysterious new boy in town, eager to find out if he can make her dreams come true.

My thoughts:In this books we find Raven, a goth girl, in love with vampires. But when she finds one will see believe it, be frightened, or fall in love. I know the answer to this question. My question to you is how would you feel? I think I would be a non believer. just due to the fact that we always hope certain things could be true, but our deepest desires are false. Not saying that I would never be one to want to be a vampire like her. Sure Stephanie Meyer makes them sound fabulous, but Anne Rice created monsters. And I would want no part of that. As much as I love to read and write about them. NON-BELIEVER!
Raven has a lot more to deal with other then her fascination with vampires. Trevor the cocky idiot she goes to school with. causing trouble at every turn.
