Overview: Azalea is trapped. Just when she should feel that everything is before her . . . beautiful gowns, dashing suitors, balls filled with dancing . . . it's taken away. All of it.
The Keeper understands. He's trapped, too,
held for centuries within the walls of the palace. And so he extends an
invitation.
Every night, Azalea and her eleven sisters
may step through the enchanted passage in their room to dance in his silver
forest.
But there is a cost.
The Keeper likes to keep things.
Azalea may not realize how tangled she is
in his web until it is too late.
My thoughts: I have to say that I really liked this book. I almost hated that it had to end. I wanted it to go on forever....maybe she could write about the other girls...I know I would love it.
This story reminds me of The Enchanted Castle from Beauty and the Beast! Most of their home is controlled by old magic and it is powerful and it takes over everything.
I also enjoyed that the princess' names were from A-L and I am sure they would have kept going, which is even neater.
Azalea is the main girl and has a lot to deal with. She is the eldest and is dealing with her father who is non- active in their lives and her mother dies and she is left to take care of the girls. I feel really bad for her and every time a new character dome in to play I love that because it gives the girls someone else to entertain them to give big sis a break.
And I have to say I happy with the guy she ends up with!
