Publication Date: March 2011

Overview: Bianca will risk everything to be with Lucas.
After escaping from Evernight, the vampire boarding school where they met, Bianca and Lucas seek refuge with Black Cross, an elite group of vampire hunters. Bianca must hide her supernatural heritage or risk certain death at its hands. But when Black Cross captures her friend—the vampire Balthazar—all her secrets threaten to come out.
Soon, Bianca and Lucas are on the run, pursued not only by Black Cross, but by the powerful vampires of Evernight. Yet no matter how far they run, Bianca can't escape her destiny. Bianca and Lucas have always believed their love could survive anything—but can it survive what's to come?

My thoughts: Bianca and Lucas are with Black Cross trying to survive without blood is hard on Bianca.
She sends an email to her family which causes Mrs. Bethany and her army to attack the call they are in. Then Balty gets captured and Bianca with Lucas set him free.
They figure out what Bianca is so her and Lucas run.
In the end one or both are dead! But are they really gone!

Magic of Moonlight by: Ellen Schreiber

Publication Date: December 2011

Overview: Beware of a bite under a full moon . . . It will complicate your love life.
Celeste has more to worry about than a secret romance with a hot guy from the wrong side of town. That guy, Brandon, is a werewolf. With gossip and hostility swirling at school, it’s time to find a cure for his nocturnal condition, and perhaps the one person who can help is his scientist father. But what if a “cure” makes things worse and Brandon becomes a werewolf full time?
To keep Brandon’s secret safe, Celeste must hide her relationship with him from her best friends, but with the Moonlight Ball approaching, she must make a choice. Her dream is to go with her one true love—Brandon. But once the sun goes down, the clouds separate, and the full moon appears, could she really walk into the dance on the arm of a werewolf?
In this installment of the sumptuously romantic Full Moon series, Celeste faces her fears and her friends and finds out whether she’s strong enough to stand up for herself and her one true love.

My thoughts: Celeste and Brandon are fighting to hid the truth and the face the facts that the town doesn't want them to be together.
And not necessarily the town just Celeste's friends and Nash. Together they must face Brandon's dad, to see if he can help them figure out a clue!
And then to tell Celeste's fiends the truth about their relationship!
In the meantime, Nash finds himself in a hairy situation.

Fallen in Love by: Lauren Kate

Publication Date: January 2012

Overview: What makes your heart race a little faster? It's FALLEN IN LOVE, four wholly original and romantic new stories collected in a novel set in the Middle Ages by Lauren Kate. FALLEN IN LOVE gives fans the much-talked about but never-revealed stories of FALLEN characters as they intertwine with the epic love story of Luce and Daniel. The stories include: Love Where You Least Expect It: The Valentine of Shelby and Miles , Love Lessons: The Valentine of Roland; Burning Love: The Valentine of Arriane; and Endless Love: The Valentine of Daniel and Lucinda.

My thoughts: This is a collection of stories about the characters from The Fallen Series.
Miles and Shelby: They were headed for home, but find themselves lost in another time. In this era they fins Luce. Then Roland and lastly love.
Roland: He lost his love by choice! And now he's back in time to see what's become of her. he saves her husband from certain death and finds his friend, Arrriane!
Arraine: Loving the one person she can never have is hard. And losing them over and over is even harder.
Daniel and Lucinda: They celebrate the only Valentine's Day they ever had together.

The Body Finder by: Kimberly Derting

Publication Date: February 2011

Overview: A gripping tale of a girl with a morbid ability that could lead her to a killer . . . and the boy who would never let anything happen to her.
Sixteen-year-old Violet Ambrose is grappling with two major issues: Jay Heaton and her unusual so-called gift. While her confusing feelings for her best friend are new, she has been able to sense dead bodies—or at least those that have been murdered—and the imprints that attach to their killers since she was a little girl. Violet has never considered her ability useful, but now that a serial killer has begun terrorizing her small town she realizes she might be the only person who can stop him.
Fiercely protective of her, Jay agrees to help Violet search for the murderer. But even as she's falling in love, Violet is getting closer to discovering a killer . . . and becoming his prey herself.

My thoughts: I loved this story, but of course i say that about most things. This for once is not about vampires and about people who do great for others.
Two best friends face love and losing each other.
Then girls disappear and Violet is the only one who can find them.
It takes hard work and being alone but Vi finds the bodies and the person responsible for their deaths.
The only problem is it's not over! There is a new killer, the partner and he's after Violet.
But how do you find someone who is actually suppose to be a hero.

Shatter Me by: Tahereh Mafi

Publication Date: November 2011

Overview: "You can't touch me," I whisper.
I'm lying, is what I don't tell him.
He can touch me, is what I'll never tell him.
But things happen when people touch me.
Strange things.
Bad things.
No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal, but The Reestablishment has plans for her. Plans to use her as a weapon.
But Juliette has plans of her own.
After a lifetime without freedom, she's finally discovering a strength to fight back for the very first time—and to find a future with the one boy she thought she'd lost forever.

My thoughts: I loved it!!!! It's says she can't touch anyone without killing. And what's worse is that she has killed before, a small child. She was trying to help him, save him and killed by accident.
But really to be able to kill your enemies, people would abuse that. I might abuse that. But not her, she fights against using that power, against killing. Even her enemies.
I'm glad Adam found her and he's on her side. Together they get help and find someone to get them to a safe place.
And the safe place is a place that will help them. By educating and showing them what other powers exist.

Angelfire by: Courtney Allison Moulton

Publication Date: January 2012

Overview: First there are nightmares. Then come the memories. Now she must hunt.
Ellie can’t shake the terrifying dreams about monstrous creatures that are hunting her, killing her. Then she meets Will and feels on the verge of remembering something just beyond her grasp. His attention is intense and romantic, and Ellie feels like her soul has known him for centuries. When they meet on a dark street at midnight, Will awakens Ellie’s power, and she knows that she can fight the creatures that stalk her in the grim darkness. Will holds the key to Ellie’s memories, whole lifetimes of them, and she can no longer pretend anything was just a dream.
Her role is to hunt and kill the reapers that prey on human souls. In order to survive, she must also hunt for the secrets of her past lives, the dangerous and ancient battle of the angels and the Fallen, and truths that may be too frightening to remember.

My thoughts: I enjoyed this tale. Will is her protector but she has to remember it first. In the mean time I think she has fallen in love with him. But he must protector her evil and yet teach her to fight ans let her kill.
Ellie's dad is an evil, arrogant, butt hat. And I really think that I would have to beat him down if I were Will. i thin that should be his job as her protector. Stand up to the bully at home. And who knows maybe he has something to do with all the evil that is going on around her, anyway.
The trip to destroy becomes a trip that might end them all.
