As most of you may have noticed by now, I have not blogged Since January of this year 2015. I have been very busy and quite frankly uninterested in something I once loved. Some of this is due to demand and rudeness and sometimes it was similarly due to time restraints. I don't think I will ever be as faithful to it as I once one. I due hope to post a few things from time to time, but if you are looking for the once ever faithful blogger....your in the wrong place.
I still very much love books and love my fans I just can't do it as I once could. I hope you understand and will stay tuned for what could come!

Forgive My Fins by: Tera Lynn Childs
Publication Date:
June 2011
Overview:
Unrequited love is hard enough when you’re a normal teenage girl, but for Lily Sanderson, there’s no such thing as a simple crush.
Lily has a secret, and it’s not her huge crush on gorgeous swimming god Brody Bennett, who makes her heart beat flipper-fast. Lily’s mermaid identity is a secret that can’t get out, since she’s not just any mermaid—she’s a Thalassinian princess. When she discovered three years ago that her mother was actually a human, Lily finally realized why she didn’t feel quite at home in Thalassinia, and she’s been going to Seaview High ever since. Living on land has its problems—like her obnoxious biker-boy neighbor, Quince Fletcher—but it has that one major perk: Brody. The problem is, mermaids aren’t really the casual dating type—when they bond, it’s for life.
When Lily’s attempt to win Brody’s love leads to a tsunami-sized case of mistaken identity, she finds out, quick as a tailfin flick, that happily ever after never sails quite as smoothly as you planned.
My thoughts:
I just love this series. It was just magical and beautiful. Lily is a mermaid and her father is the mer-king. Kinda having a love for the Little Mermaid it just brings me joy to read anything with similarities. Her one true love is the boy she never considered. She is really mad for Brody due to his love of water and water-sports. But she doesn't realize is that he will never love her. She tries to get him alone to kiss him which will turn him into a mermaid and it also makes him her mate.
The annoying neighbor boy gets in the way he ends up turning into a mermaid. Lily is so mad, but she gets her dad to agree to a seperation and so she must not only pass the test she must find someone new to love.
But does breaking the bond mean losing the real true love forever?

Overview:
Here are Peyton and Jace, meeting on vacation. Click! It’s awesome, it’s easy, it’s romantic. This is the real deal.
Unless it isn’t. Because when you’re in love, you don’t just stop calling one day. And you don’t keep secrets. Or lie. And when your life starts falling apart, you’re supposed to have the other person to lean on.
Here are Peyton and Jace again, broken up but thrown together on a road trip. One of them is lying about the destination. One of them is pretending not to be leaving something behind. And neither of them is prepared for what’s coming on the road ahead…
My thoughts:
This is one of those books that I wasn't particularly happy with. I just wanted to give it the chance it deserved because the author has written some really fun thing, I just hated this book .The characters seemed spoiled and self righteous and most of the time I found I was forcing myself to stay in the book. Just not something I would buy ir read ever again. Great thing I borrowed it from a friend.

2 stars
